Rambo® Duo System - A New Approach to Rug Management

Finally the Rambo® Duo gives you thermal versatility! As the seasons change you can change the liner to increase or decrease the warmth of the rug. Secondly it allows you to regularly wash the liner without the need for a second turnout and without damaging the high tech waterproof breathable coating on the turnout. This is achieved without any inconvenience as the rug and liner are simply and securely attached so they are fitted with no more effort than a normal Rambo® Turnout.  The technical outer shell is waterproof, breathable and dirtproof - nothing can get through this barrier! Dirt, sweat and grime from the horse is collected by the liner, this keeps the lining of the turnout clean. The liner is designed to fit into a domestic washing machine. Since additional liners are relatively inexpensive you can have a spare one to use when you wash the dirty liner.

Liners come in different weights, 100g (down to the upper 40's), 200g (down to the upper 30's), 300g (down to the lower 30's and mid 20's) and 400g (down to the 20's and below), so you can increase or decrease the warmth of the rug as the weather changes.

The Duo is 2, yes 2, blankets in 1. Blanket #1 - The waterproof and breathable outer ballistic nylon shell has 100g of thermobonded fiberfill. Blanket #2 - Sold with the Duo waterproof outer shell is the 300g attachable liner giving you a combined 400g weight blanket. To exercise the option of having blankets # 3, 4 or 5 simply purchase additional liners. Available liners are 100g, 200g, and 400g thermobonded fiberfill. Keeping your horse turned out at the appropriate weight for the changing weather is easy. Horseware's Rambo® Duo has our Leg Arches™ , Euro-Cut no slip design with belly surcingles and tail strap to keep this beautiful turnout in place. Three belly surcingles allow extra depth of the blanket to contour to your horse’s shape and provide extra coverage under the belly. Horseware's Leg Arches™ allow freedom of forward motion as it prevents extra fabric from gathering around your horse’s Legs as he moves. Our patented V-Front closure is literally a snap to use. HOW IT WORKS
The Rambo® Duo utilizes Velcro and snap closures to allow you to attach the inner liner to the outer shell without extra bulky straps.

EASILY WASHED AT HOME

FITTING YOUR HORSE’S BLANKET
The fit of your blanket is extremely important to the comfort of your horse.
An improperly fitted blanket can cause rubbing and slippage. Horseware® blankets are euro-cut and the sizes do not run the same as other manufacturers’ blankets.
To find out what size Rambo® blanket your horse needs, measure the distance from the center of the chest to the center of the tail and subtract 4 inches.
Horseware Rambo® blankets are sized in three-inch increments, so you will need to choose the closest size available. Horseware Rambo® blankets run large
so we recommend choosing the closest size down from your measurement.

CARE OF YOUR HORSE’S BLANKET
To keep your blanket as comfortable as possible for your horse and to maximize the blanket’s life, we recommend that you clean your blanket annually.
First, remove excess dirt from the outside of the blanket with a brush and hose.
The blanket can then be washed either by hand, or on a delicate cycle with cool water in a conventional washer.
Use only very mild soap. Horseware® recommends Rambo® Rug Wash, an environmentally friendly product for use on synthetic fabrics. Rambo® Rug Wash
will effectively remove dirt without damaging the waterproof coating. When the blanket has been washed, allow to drip dry and ensure that the blanket is
thoroughly dry before storage. Do not put your horse’s blanket in the dryer or wash with hot water. Do not store your horse’s blanket if damp or wet.
This will damage the waterproof coating and void any warranties. In the unlikely event that your horse blanket should become nicked or damaged due to
horse abuse Horseware® recommends Rambo® Stormsure to contain and waterproof the nicks that your blanket may get through the years.
