Using AquaTrans™ coating technology, the Rambo Turnout was the first blanket that was fully Waterproof AND Breathable. This means that your horse is protected from the rain, yet any perspiration produced by his skin is allowed to escape through the rug and into the atmosphere, keeping him completely dry.
Developed by Horseware in 1990 as a testimony to the idea that it is possible to make a blanket that is truly waterproof, doesn’t move and is light and comfortable for the horse, the classical design of the Rambo Original Turnout has formed the basis for Turnout rug design world-wide.

FITTING YOUR HORSE’S BLANKET
The fit of your blanket is extremely important to the comfort of your horse. An improperly fitted blanket can cause rubbing and slippage.
Horseware® blankets are euro-cut and the sizes do not run the same as other manufacturers’ blankets.
To find out what size Rambo® blanket your horse needs, measure the distance from the center of the chest to the center of the tail and subtract 4 inches.
Horseware Rambo® blankets are sized in three-inch increments, so you will need to choose the closest size available.
Horseware Rambo® blankets run large so we recommend choosing the closest size down from your measurement.
